Our story: In 2022, our son Matthieu while playing in the 10U recreational league, broke his ankle sliding into home base. The plate was sunken in and his foot caught on it as he was sliding running home. Thankfully, the park’s liability insurance helped with some of the medical expenses. As the landscape director of the park, I decided to do some research to learn how to fix the problem so no other child would break a bone while playing baseball at our park. With the support of my company and the park, we not only fixed the home plate batter boxes but also revamped the bullpens to create a safe environment for all of our young athletes.
This experience has motivated me to encourage other community members to take proactive steps in enhancing our local facilities. I’m proud to say that Neighborhood Lawn Care & Landscaping is here to partner with you in making our fields a safer, happier place for everyone.
